It's official - Satan endorses Kerry

This explains how the Redsox won the World Series, and would explain a Kerry *shudder* victory *shudder* on November 2nd.

Ok, understand this will be the ONLY time I will be rooting for the 'Skins.

    Did you know....??

The Washington Redskins have proved to be a time-tested election predictor. In the previous 15 elections, if the Washington Redskins have lost their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party has lost the White House. When they have won, the incumbent has stayed in power.

This election year, that deciding game takes place on Sunday, October 31 ... vs. Green Bay.
    Read this from

    Update: Green Bay - 28 Washington: 14

Well if the Red Sox can win the World Series, anything can happen.

    Howard Stern vs Michael Powell

Allthough I am not a fan of Howard Stern, he has brought up some valid points, when he is not talking to porn stars.

Why does someone like him get fined by the FCC for adult conversations on his radio show, but someone like Oprah can have 13 year old hookers discuss in graphic detail how they service a john.

The exchange occurred during the morning show on San Francisco's KGO radio. Host Ronn Owens was interviewing Powell and was taking phone calls when Stern called.
Listen to the conversation here - this is a Zip file.

Apple picking and the State of Seattle.

Do you know the state with receives the greatest amount of rainfall per year?
And the answer is not "Seattle"

Took the family apple picking this sunday, I don't know about the rest of the country, but growing up in New York apple picking is a very "fall season" thing to do.

So we packed up the family, and headed upstate to grab us some apples. And we did, I learned that the best apples are all the way on the top of the hill and if you shake a tree full of apples some will plunk you on the head. Newton be damned.

We ate apple pie, drank pepsi (I don't like cider) and filled a giant bag with apples, its like playing migrant farm worker for a day.

Leaving the farm, our car was searched like it was entering the U.N. nope no stray apples here, we are going to have apples coming out of our collective asses for the next few days, everyone who rings the doorbell, the paperboy, the laundry delivery guy, the pizza guy, the chinese food guy, they are all going to get an apple.

As for the rainfall question, they were holding a trivia contest for prizes and I blurted out "Seattle" now realizing Seattle is not a state, I am just going to slink away and eat an apple.

A humiliated Simpson apologized to her fans - and blamed her band for playing the wrong song.
She blamed the band? the fucking band? that same band that is probally working for union scale because her self serving theater mom wouldn't spring for actual musicians?

I watched it not only rooting for our brave men and women serving
in Vietnam, but with total distain as John Kerry turns into a self
    serving traitor.

Disrespecting his country, his fellow servicemen and sadly himself. This man shouldn't be class president at P.S. 5 much less America.

    This is very funny stuff.

I would file this under - "Way to much free time"

A New York City artist that goes by the name "RX" has taken George Bush's speeches and set them to music. Actually what he did was use various sound clips so its our President singing some of the hits.

    - George Bush with the lyrics to Imagine by John Lennon and Walk on the Wild Side by Lou Reed.

    - George Bush with the lyrics to Sunday Bloody Sunday by U2

    Funny Stuff.

    Go Sawx

Congratulations to Boston for finally beating the Yankees and their stupid fans.
I know that the Sox will not win the World Series, but its nice to dream

    - Thoughts about the 7 games.

Best chant - "Who's your Lifeguard"

Worst fan behavior - Yankee fans for pelting the field with baseballs during game 6, Alex Rodriguez was clearly out, but your blind faith led you to be assholes and make a game that was almost 4 hours long just that much longer.

Best .058 hitter - Johnny Damond this guy couldn't buy a hit, then in game 7 he blasts a grand slam and a solo shot.

Worst announcer - All of them, mostly Joe Buck.

Best Commercial - MasterCard - "For fans with hope - priceless"

Worst Commercial - Budweiser - "Slam a Lama Ding dong" - eat me.

Most shocking appearance - Mariano Rivera, for blowing 2 saves.

Worst programming since the Heidi Bowl- FOX for even thinking that the Cardinals / Houston game will be shown right after the Yankee game, The Cards game was in the bottom of the 7th inning by the time the Yankee game was over.

Best sign seen on TV - Opie and Anthony "WOW" sign during game 6 at Yankee Stadium

Worst sign seen on TV - Anything having to do with "The Curse"

Worst fan giveaway - Who is the half a retard who thought giving Yankee fans baseballs was a good idea? why not bats or razorblades nextime.

Greatest letdown - Knowing the Sox will find someway to fuck up the World Series.

    A letter from Dexter Lehtinen.

In 1971, I awakened after three days of unconsciousness aboard a hospital ship off the coast of Vietnam. I could not see, my jaws were wired shut, and my left cheekbone was missing, a gaping hole in its place.

Later, while still in that condition at St Albans Naval Hospital, one of my earliest recollections was hearing of John Kerry's testimony before Congress. I remember lying there, in disbelief, as I learned how Kerry told the world that I served in an Army reminiscent of Genghis Khan's; that officers like me routinely let their men plunder villages and rape villagers at will; that "war crimes" committed in Vietnam by my fellow soldiers "were not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command."

Then Kerry went to Paris, meeting with the North Vietnamese enemy officials, all while our soldiers still fought in the field. The pain and disbelief I felt listening to his words went deeper than the pain I felt from the enemy fire which seriously wounded my face.

Eighteen months later I was discharged from the hospital, the wounds inflicted by the enemy fully healed. But more than 30 years later, the wounds inflicted by John Kerry continue to bring pain to scores of Vietnam veterans. Those wounds — the bearing of false witness against me and a generation of courageous young Americans who fought and died in Vietnam — are much more serious than any wound warranting a Purple Heart.

Those wounds go to the heart and soul. Those wounds never go away. Today, my son is a Marine Corps weapons officer, flying the F/A 18 Hornet. He belongs to the same Marine Corps Kerry ridiculed with his 1971 book cover showing protestors simulating the Iwo Jima Memorial, raising an upside-down American flag. He flies the same F/A 18 fighter jet that Kerry voted against in the U. S. Senate. And today, Kerry's picture hangs in an honored place in Saigon's war museum, as a hero to the Vietnamese Communists.

Yet, John Kerry shamelessly drapes himself in the imagery of Vietnam, military service and the support of veterans, devoid of any media scrutiny. Meanwhile, the criticism and disapproval of Kerry by scores of veterans continues to fall on deaf ears. Worse yet, any legitimate criticism of Kerry's post-war record is discredited as a "personal" attack, or an attack against his service. John Kerry is quick to surround himself with a handful of veterans and claims overwhelming support from the veteran community. He ignores, however, the wounds he inflicted on millions of veterans, and he refuses to sign a waiver to release his military personal records and medical records. This is the portrait of a man who has failed to comes to terms with his treacherous past.

    Dexter Lehtinen
    7700 S. W. 88th St., Ste. 303
    Miami, FL 33156

The letter quoted above was written by Dexter Lehtinen of Miami, Florida, a Vietnam veteran who was wounded during a mission in Laos. Mr. Lehtinen is a Stanford law school graduate, has served as a U.S. Attorney in Miami as well as a Florida state representative and state senator, and is married to U.S. Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida.

    Prez debate part three

They have to stop scheduling these things during the baseball playoffs.

So I have been flipping between the Boston game and the debate.

I know I am backing the wrong horse with the Bosox but I hate the Yankees, hate their fans, hate their stupid claustrophobic stadium and I hate John Kerry’s fucking tan, what’s up with that?

Bush is fucking Kerry up on health care, Kerry wants that whole socialist thingie and the funny part was his comments. “It’s not a government program” you know except where the part of it where the government is in control of the health care.

Bush is fucking up Kerry on Social Security, and have you noticed that old people bitch about everything? I hate old people more than I hate the Yankees. Atlantic City is filled with old people, they get in the way, smell like mothballs and just are a nuisance.

I am not down with Bush’s illegal immigrant card he is pushing, I think its just cow towing to the Hispanic vote and well as a Hispanic I am insulted.

    The V.P. Debate.

I won't lie, I didn't watch it. I decided to watch the Twins beat up on the helpless Yankees and I was not disapointed in the least. Minnesota turned 5 double plays enroute to a 2-0 win. GO TWINS !!!

As for the debate, this is what other people are saying.

"Round Two went to the White House." - NY POST
"Both of them did great, but I'd score it on points for Cheney" - NY Daily News
    "A draw" - CNN
"Republicans asked supporters to defeat the "Kerry campaign spin machine""- FOX News
"The 90-minute exchange produced no obvious knock-out blows" - New York Newsday
"The veep was everything his boss, President George W. Bush, wasn’t last week" - MSNBC

And this is what fellow bloggers had to say.

"I see that most are calling the debate in Cheney's favor" - A Small Victory
    "What a lopsided match-up!" - INDC
"A bit of a tie. Even though my wife thinks Cheney kicked ass." - Opinion8
"Dick Cheney can be President." - The Astronomicon's Blog
"I think Cheney won tonight - but he didn't mop the floor with Edwards" - Vodkapundit

I am going to go watch the Twins win game 2.

Then we had lunch at this fine German restaurant called "Auschwitz"

Jerk off Jones said it.. I didn't...

KERRY: Well, let me just say quickly that I've had an extraordinary experience of watching up close and personal that transition in Russia, because I was there right after the transformation. And I was probably one of the first senators, along with Senator Bob Smith of New Hampshire, a former senator, go down into the KGB underneath Treblinka Square and see reams of files with names in them.
Treblinka was a Nazi death camp.
